Jordan Gurganus / Christian Childree – September Wedding

Joran and Christian had a very elegant wedding with a dash of Southern Barn Charm. Both are from Panama City but were living in Seattle Washington. They decided to come home so they could share their love story and a very heart touching moment under an Old Oak Tree to share their vows. They made the long trip so they could be with their family and friends.

The weather was perfect. There were Beautiful clouds that showed up late afternoon to put the finishing touch on a very lovely wedding.

The evening was filled with delicious food, music, dancing, and a beautiful cake.

Christian didn’t get Hank in the wedding, one of Beau Chene’s donkeys, which happens to be Christians favorite little guy. However, there was play time in the pasture with Hank and a few of the horses during some of the Kodak moments.

Christian and Jordan wanted an easy laid back wedding at Beau Chene. They are Leather and Lace; you can guess who’s who 🙂

Annie Braxton/Johnny Wilson – October Formal Wedding

The Wilson’s chose a lovely sunset evening to be married by the lake at Beau Chêne Plantation. This elegant wedding hosted around 175+ members of the family and friends. We enjoyed working with Annie and family along with their event planner. While Annie and her wedding planner were on the Main House porch planning the big event, Johnny decided to go fishing in the pond in the back.

As soon as Johnny threw his line in the water, he caught a big fish. Right then, he knew this was the place for their wedding. He got so excited, he shouted up to the Main House to Annie: “This is it – we’re getting married here!“ -Johnny Wilson

Sarah Nall/Jason Croom – April Wedding

Panama City groom Jason Croom tied the knot with Sarah Nall, formerly of Ipswitch, England, at our Plantation. Sarah’s family came all the way from their home in England to be part of this beautiful wedding. Their wedding party enjoyed the lovely weather and took advantage of early evening setting of the sun. At the end of their first visit, they were sold on booking our Plantation.

“Gosh, we’re a very laid-back couple. As soon as we stepped onto the grounds, we knew this was the place!”
